Wonder Woman watercolor. I just felt like playing around with watercolors as a break from my normal black and white marker drawings. I really should do more color pieces since they always seem to be popular at the cons I go attend.
You are?!? I didn't see your name on the list! Totally my bad. Oh, that's fantastic. I'm not entirely sure what the protocol is regarding commissions, but I will definitely be watching for notices to pre-order! Thanks for letting me know.
I think I'm on the artist alley list, maybe not the 'guest list" weird, I know. I've got a short sketch list going for Heroes already since it's one of the busiest art cons for me I have to get a head start.
This is from an inexpensive Canson watercolor pad. I like it because the paper is pretty smooth, kind of like bristol board. I am not a fan of rough watercolor paper for figures...it tends to be too grainy looking.
thanks for the tip! i want to do some future ink wash pieces and need to find a good surface. i've been using Canson bristol for my inks the past few months and have been really impressed with it... so if you like their watercolor paper i'm willing to give it a try.
