White Queen from NYCC 2012 by MichaelDooney White Queen from NYCC 2012 by MichaelDooney
Here's a pic of a piece I did at NYCC. The challenge with Emma is how to handle the all white look, but I liked the subtle look of this one. The owner was nice enough to send a photo after the con. I usually ask for scans of art I do at cons but folks don't always come through, so thanks man ;)

I am collecting reference material for my X-Men sleeve. If you do have this it would be much appreciated

You are seriously one of my favorite artists. You can do the sexy, not slutty thing. I am getting X-Men partial leg sleeve and your work is definitely going to be on the final product. If you could please upload this that would be great. Cuz when I choose the work I want on my sleeve I want them to trace your work. I dont want any deviations from your product

For me, in addition to all of the previous stuff that has been mentioned, the best thing about this piece is her expression -- I really do think that's an underappreciated talent that you have; the way your characters look (and I don't mean how they look -- which is always great, if that even needs to be said -- but rather how they "look"...at the viewer. I'm not sure I can define it (it's not quite aloofness, not quite indifference...maybe superciliousness?), but for Me it always makes the piece.

Anyhow, as always, another great effort. Another great reward for the viewer.

I hear you. I've actually thought lately that I should shoot for some more variety in my expressions.
