Shrinking Violet

Another silver age Legion of Superheroes girl commish. The challenge here was trying to add something to imply her small scale. Since it's prime autumn leaf season here in New England, I guess I had leaves on the brain. I did a few quick leaf sketches in my backyard to get a feel for them before I tackled this one. Even though this was done in gray markers, I added some loose gray washes of watercolor on the leaves to give them a bit more of an organic look.
