Quick head drawing in charcoal on 9x12 newsprint pad.
Since so much of my 'real' work needs to be drawn pretty tightly, I enjoy the looseness of drawing with charcoal for a change...the loose quality also sometimes makes it look more like 'Art"

thanks. I purposely use something like a stick of charcoal so I can't get all render-y and turn exercises like this into WORK!

I love this one Mike. I often like drawings that have a sketchy quality to them. This is really cool, she has a lot of personality!
